We believe that cleaning your makeup brushes and tools shouldn't mean dirtying the planet.
Since 2017, we have been dedicated to hand-crafting natural, solid makeup brush cleansers that are tough on makeup residue & bacteria but gentle on your skin and great for your brushes —using only the power of nature, not harsh chemicals.

Founder and the creative genius behind the MuMe makeup brush cleanser. Emma has spent her career finding ways to make natural ingredients part of our everyday lives including teaching people across the country how to make their own natural soaps, candles and makeup.

MuMe isn't a faceless corporation; it is the passion project of a dedicated beauty expert.
- 15+ Years Experience: Emma has spent over a decade in the beauty industry, specializing in skincare and holistic therapies.
- Educator: As a former lecturer at the Blackrock Institute, Emma understands the strict hygiene standards required by professional makeup artists.
- Aromatherapy Expert: Every scent and ingredient in MuMe products is chosen with intention, balancing effectiveness with sensory wellbeing.

From the Classroom to the Makeup Table
While working at a beauty college Emma realised the student's were being given a makeup brush cleaner which was full of harsh chemicals which resulted in brushes drying out and losing their fluffiness and could even cause skin reactions.
So, drawing on her background in aromatherapy and natural product design, Emma began experimenting with formulas for an all natural solution that cleaned makeup brushes and blenders just as well (as it turns out - better) and also conditioned them - without the chemicals.
Since our launch in 2017 MuMe has gone on to win an IMAGE Beauty Award and has become a favourite of Make Up Artists & Beauty experts across Ireland.
